II. Design and Build:
The Lenovo Legion Y70 has a premium design, featuring a glass front and aluminum frame that gives it a sturdy and sleek look. The device measures 163.6 x 77 x 8mm and weighs 209g, making it relatively large and slightly heavier than other smartphones. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security, and the back panel houses a triple camera setup and LED flash. The lack of a microSD card slot may be a drawback for some users who require expandable storage, but the ample internal storage options offered by the device should be sufficient for most users' needs.
IV. Performance:
The Lenovo Legion Y70 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which is built on the 4nm process. The chipset features an octa-core CPU, consisting of a single high-performance Cortex-X2 core clocked at 3.19GHz, three high-performance Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.75GHz, and four power-efficient Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The graphics are handled by an Adreno 730 GPU, which is a top-of-the-line graphics processor.
In terms of real-world performance, the Lenovo Legion Y70 is a true powerhouse. V. Camera:
The Lenovo Legion Y70 boasts a triple camera setup on the rear, including a 50 MP primary camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The primary camera has a wide aperture of f/1.8 and supports PDAF and OIS, which should help in taking clear and stable shots. The ultra-wide camera has a 120-degree field of view, which is perfect for capturing landscapes and group photos. The device can shoot videos up to 8K resolution at 30 fps, 4K at 30/60 fps, and 1080p at 30/60/240 fps, with gyro-EIS support.

VI. Battery Life:
The Lenovo Legion Y70 comes with a non-removable Li-Po 5100 mAh battery that should provide decent battery life. The device supports 68W wired charging, and the company claims that it can charge up to 80% in just 34 minutes. In our tests, we found that the battery lasted for about a day on moderate usage, including social media, video playback, and web browsing. However, heavy gaming and camera usage drained the battery faster, and we had to recharge it more frequently.
VII. Pricing:
The Lenovo Legion Y70 is priced at about $490 in the United States, which is a good value for a phone with these specifications. It competes with other mid-range phones like the OnePlus Nord 2 and the Samsung Galaxy A52, but it offers better performance and camera capabilities. Overall, the Lenovo Legion Y70 offers a great combination of specs and features at an affordable price.
Note: The pricing mentioned is based on the conversion from the Euro to USD, and may vary based on the region and availability.
